Element are pleased to be exclusively representing a repeat client for the appointment of a project accountant in their team. The ideal candidate will be part qualified or finalist with a relevant accounting body, with good stakeholder management skills.
Role & Responsibilities
- Challenge project risks and opportunities within portfolios
- Supporting with monthly management accounts preparation
- Working with the Projects Team
- Production of Project Accounts
- Financial analysis and subsequent commentary
- Forecasting, budgeting and identifying areas for continuous improvement
- Key point of contact for financial issues within project portfolio
- Compilation of any ad hoc reports for senior members of finance.
- Attend and prepare project reviews with SLT
- Meeting financial deadlines for your project portfolio
Key Characteristics
- Part or Newly qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Good attention to detail and organisational skillset
- Good communication skills
- Confident with all elements of Microsoft Office
