Management Accountant - Weston Super Mare

Management Accountant | £42,000 - £52,000 | Clevedon, North Somerset

This specialist Engineering company has won multiple awards, and is experiencing a period of growth and change. An opportunity has arisen for the company to recruit a talented Management Accountant to support the Financial Controller and CFO. Its a brilliant role in a great company and rewarding organisation!

You will have responsibility for management reporting, analysis, as well as liaising with the group finance team on year end and matters of governance.

You will be qualified, part-qualified, or QBE, with a management reporting background.

Reporting into the Finance Controller, responsibilities will include:

• Production of monthly management accounts, and commentary
• Business Partner the wider business and group finance on monthly management reporting matters
• Manage the month end process, supporting the FC
• Responsible for the balance sheet including review and output, resolve issues, managing risks and opportunities 
• Own timetable for delivery of divisional results for consolidation into the group statutory accounts 
• Drive continuous improvements, especially supporting improvements to the monthly and annual reporting
• Provide commercial support to the FD and FC as required.

Your Profile:

• Finalist, Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA), or QBE accountant
• Strong IT skills, especially Excel
• Good communication skills
• Self motivated and a team player
