Management Accountant - Bristol - North

Our client is a thriving and forward-thinking construction business based in North Bristol. With a strong reputation for quality and innovation, they’re entering an exciting period of growth and are looking for a Management Accountant to join their team. As a Management Accountant, you’ll play a vital role in shaping the financial strategy of the business. Working closely with the Finance Director, you’ll gain hands-on experience and develop a deep understanding of the construction sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and present monthly management accounts.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Support project cost analysis and profitability reporting.
• Manage cash flow, including monitoring and forecasting.
• Collaborate with project managers to track project performance.
• Develop and refine financial systems and processes.
• Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making.

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

• Part-qualified or actively studying towards a professional qualification (ACCA/CIMA/ACA).
• Experience in management accounting, preferably in a project-based or construction environment (but not essential).
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
