Logistics Coordinator (part-time) - Bath

Element Recruitment Logistics Coordinator to join an industry leading business based in Bath on a part-time basis. In this role you will oversee the efficient movement of products, coordinating shipments, tracking deliveries and ensuring timely arrival of imported goods. You will also manage logistics, handle customs processes, and collaborate with suppliers and production teams to streamline operations.

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee the efficient movement of products and coordinate shipments
• Manage logistics, handle customs processes, and collaborate with suppliers and production teams
• Organize sea and air freight shipments in line with critical project paths
• Liaise with different shippers to find the most competitive cost and lead time
• Track vessel sailing dates and communicate delays or early delivery with the team
• Manage and maintain shipping tracker and update weekly shipping update sheet
• Collaborate with warehouse, customer services, and project managers to optimize all processes
• Resolve issues regarding shipped orders and maintain commodity code list

Requirements:

• Proven experience in logistics or supply chain management is preferred
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to perform accurate data entry with attention to detail
• Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes is beneficial
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• A proactive approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced environment

This is a hybrid role with 1 day in the Bath office per month, offering part-time hours of approx. 26 hours per week and a salary of £28,000 - £33,000
