Interim Transactional Manager (AP, AR & Billing) - Bristol - Central

Are you an immediately available Transactional Finance Manager or available upon short notice / to start on 12th August?

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Transactional Finance Manager who has experience in AP, AR and Billing to join a successful, international business based in Central Bristol. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and improving our transactional finance operations, with a strong focus on the introduction of self-billing for our EU entities and the implementation of quality measures for data entry and timesheet/invoicing processing.

Key Responsibilities:

Self-Billing Implementation:

  • Lead the introduction of self-billing processes for our EU entities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and compliance with local regulations.
  • Develop and implement training programs for staff on self-billing procedures.

Quality Measures Implementation:

  • Design and introduce quality measures for data entry and timesheet/invoicing processing.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of these measures, making adjustments as necessary.
  • Develop and maintain documentation and training materials to support quality initiatives.

Transactional Finance Management:

  • Oversee daily transactional finance operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions.
  • Maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations.

Process Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements within the finance function.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and overall performance.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices to drive innovation within the finance team.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, highlighting key insights and recommendations.
  • Conduct regular analysis of financial data to support decision-making and strategic planning.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in transactional finance management or a similar role.
  • Proven experience with implementing self-billing processes and quality measures.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
  • Strong understanding of EU financial regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
