Interim HOF | Bristol | Hybrid working | up to £350 per day - Bristol - Central

As Interim Head of Finance, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial operations of the business, ensuring financial integrity, and driving the strategic financial decisions that will help propel the company to the next level. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will manage a small but dedicated finance team and be responsible for the day-to-day finance operations, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all aspects of the finance function, ensuring efficient and accurate financial reporting and analysis.
• Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements (tax, VAT, corporate filings, etc.).
• Provide key financial insights and strategic recommendations to senior management.
• Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures to ensure financial controls are robust and adhered to.
• Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with other departments to support business planning.
• Mentor and support the finance team, fostering a positive and collaborative team culture.

What we're looking for:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
• Proven experience in a senior finance role within an SME or fast-growing business.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and experience with financial reporting.
• Hands-on experience with cash flow management, forecasting, and budgeting.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
