Head of Credit - Bristol - Central

Global professional services organisation in the South West is seeking a Head of Credit. Working closely with the Group Finance Director on strategy planning, you'll be operating as the sounding board on everything collections related. This is an excellent opportunity to make your mark as this is a newly created role. 

Responsibilities will include:

• Global cash inflow oversight. Working with the Credit Control Manager to drive cash collections across the international business
• Work closely with Finance Heads to drive adherence to cash collection targets
• Implement invoicing forecast via billing schedules
• Prepare annual invoicing and collection targets
• Work closely with international teams on driving a culture of support on Receivables 
• Ensure continuous adherence to global sanctions policy
• Own credit risk function and promote the output of key sensitive information to the Global Credit committee
• Annual engagement with auditors and provide oversight on debtors globally

Skills & Qualifications:

• Preferrable a Member of the Chartered Institute of Credit Management
• Experience of working in a global company, ideally Middle East / USA
• Strong influencing skills
• Outstanding leadership skills
