Finance Manager - Bath

Element are pleased to be representing an exciting PE backed client for the appointment of a Group Finance Manager. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and statutory reporting experience, with hopefully some experience prior of line management

Role & Responsibilities

• Preparation of statutory accounts for group during year end 
• Advise and oversee year end audit process 
• Quarterly VAT returns 
• Oversee preparation of monthly management accounts
• Identify areas for continuous improvement 
• Collaboratively bring together the group finance team
• Deputising for senior members of the team when required

Key Characteristics

• ACCA/CIMA/ACA Qualified, looking for a first move from accounting practice, or with prior commercial industry experience
• Demonstrated experience working to tight deadlines
• Good understanding of working within a multi site business
• Strong team player, able to work effectively as part of a unit 
• Strong communication skills able to communicate with non finance stakeholders
• Line management experience would be desirable but not essential
