Finance Manager - Bath

£55,000 - £65,000 - Accountancy (Qualified)

Element are pleased to be representing an exciting PE backed client for the appointment of a Group Finance Manager. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and statutory reporting experience, with hopefully some experience prior of line management

Role & Responsibilities

Preparation of statutory accounts for group during year end
Advise and oversee year end audit process
Quarterly VAT returns
Oversee preparation of monthly management accounts
Identify areas for continuous improvement
Collaboratively bring together the group finance team
Deputising for senior members of the team when required

Key Characteristics

ACCA/CIMA/ACA Qualified, looking for a first move from accounting practice, or with prior commercial industry experience
Demonstrated experience working to tight deadlines
Good understanding of working within a multi site business
Strong team player, able to work effectively as part of a unit
Strong communication skills able to communicate with non finance stakeholders
Line management experience would be desirable but not essential
