Finance Assistant
Location: Bristol City Centre
Salary: £25,000 - £28,000

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial reports, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
- Support daily financial transactions, including invoicing, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate financial data collection and reporting.
- Help implement and improve financial processes and systems to increase efficiency.
- Monitor and track expenses, identifying areas for cost-saving opportunities.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Contribute to the preparation of financial forecasts and budgets.
- Provide ad-hoc support for finance-related tasks and projects.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a finance assistant or similar role (1-2 years preferred).
- Strong understanding of financial principles and practices.
- Proficient in MS Excel; experience with finance software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) is a plus.
- Attention to detail with the ability to spot discrepancies and improve processes.
- Strong communication skills with a collaborative mindset.
- Enthusiasm for learning and staying ahead of industry trends.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- A qualification in finance or accounting (e.g., AAT, degree) is a plus, but not essential.
