Three years old – and we’re in our element!
What a great few years it’s been. Since Steve and I set up Element Recruitment in 2016, the business has gone from strength to strength – and last Friday was a chance for the whole team to get together, have some fun and celebrate our 3rd birthday.
There was birthday cake (obviously) and then we took time out to enjoy lunch with our brilliant team (we wouldn’t be where we are today without everything they’ve done to help us build our business). It also gave us time to reflect on just how much we’ve achieved since those first heady days starting out on our own.
Maybe three is our magic number? On our first day as Element Recruitment, we moved into an office with just three desks (we’re up to 19 at the last count) and we now have more than 300 clients across the South West. We’ve also sponsored three local football teams as part of our commitment to put something back into the communities we work with – and why we work with local businesses whenever we can.
So there’s an awful lot to celebrate. Our vision has come to life – to build a recruitment company that people, whether clients or candidates, want to work with – and a team that really cares about finding the right jobs for people, and the right people for jobs. And of course, we need to say a special thank you to each and every client and candidate who’s worked with us over the last three years.
When we launched Element Recruitment, Steve and I had already clocked up more than 30 years in the recruitment business. Now we’re proud to head up a team of 15 highly experienced recruitment consultants specialising in Accountancy and Finance, Business Support and Administration, HR and Architecture and Surveying. And between us, we’ve helped nearly 850 people find their perfect role.
So what will the next three years hold? With plans to open a Cheltenham office and launch a dedicated IT division, there’s already plenty to be excited about. But as always, our focus will be on continually doing a great job for everyone we work with. It’s easy when you’re in your element.
