On Sunday 24th September 2023, members of Element Recruitment took on the Circuit of Bath walk.
It was a day that would see wind, rain and enough hills to test even the sturdiest pair of walking shoes. We were raising money and awareness for Julian House. This incredible charity provides support and shelter to the homeless in the Southwest of England. Their mission is to not only offer immediate help, but also empower individuals to regain their independence. It was this fantastic cause that had brought us, along with many others, to the picturesque city of Bath.
The weather gods seemed to have their own agenda; one moment, we were walking under the warmth of the sun, and the next, we were battling the wind and rain. It was a reminder of the challenges faced by those without a place to call home.
Throughout the walk, we met incredible people – fellow participants and volunteers. While our journey ended that day, the work of Julian House continues. The funds we raised will go a long way in providing crucial support to those in need. There is still time if you would like to donate:
